I find it interesting that the chair and ottoman in my hotel room don’t match. Hmmm.....

Ate dinner at a pretty decent Mexican restaurant in Redmond, called Mazatlan. I had a chimichanga, chile relleno, and a tamale.....it was delicious, but there was so much food (at a good price) that I was only able to eat about half of the meal. Lunch for tomorrow I suppose.

Today is one of my two-parters......

I’ve been waiting several months for my schedule to allow me to get my haircut. So today I was finally able to get my hair highlighted, and I also cut about 6-7 inches off.

Also cooked dinner....a Mexican pizza of sorts. Turned out pretty yummy!

A couple of pictures of my hotel room here in Redmond. I’m very excited to sleep in a big king sized bed (I have a twin bed at home), there is a bathtub (I only have a shower at home), and there is a nice flat screen tv (I have an old tv 'box' at home). Maybe the next 4-6 weeks won’t be so bad and will zip by quickly.

I love watching and listening to the hummingbirds in the spring and summer~and to catch a decent picture is rare. For the last few days a couple of hummingbirds have been zinging around the yard and eating like crazy at my Mom's feeder. I'm thinking it is about time to get my feeder out, fill it out, and hang it up so I can watch them from my couch.

Mother’s Day~A time to reflect and give thanks for the amazing woman in my life. I know I don’t say it enough, but I love my mom. She is such a patient and giving woman, loves me unconditionally, and has taught me so much. She is always there for me, and praying for me. I can’t imagine what my life would be like without her in it. So, for all that you have said and done over the years, Thanks Mom!!!!

Today I cooked lunch for my mom: a shrimp, bacon, tomato, spinach carbonara and praline crumb caramel cheesecake bars for dessert.

Today was the grand re-opening of the newly remodeled Lebanon Wal-mart. Wow, has it been a busy and crazy 9 weeks. I reached the point earlier this week when I realized that I was completely exhausted, so I am very grateful that we are now done with remodel. Now on to other endeavors...
