I have finally hung up some of my own photos in my house. I bought this frame a couple of weeks ago and put in some of my favorite pictures (it was a tough decision because I have lots). The frame, with pictures, is now hanging in my living room above my couch. Yay for something new!

Biscuits and gravy for breakfast this morning!!! One of my favorites yet never seem to have the time to make it, but thanks to one of the local officers calling me at 8am (after going to bed at about 3am) I had plenty of time to cook this morning.

It’s had to believe that it has been 2 years since Ariana came into my life. She was born on 9-9-09, and came from a litter of 9. She brings such joy into my life. She is my little wild thing that loves to run and play with unending energy (evidenced by the broken leg at 6 months old because she thought she could run and fly). She makes me smile and laugh on a daily basis, and nothing beats the good-night love and snuggles I get when I crawl into bed (with her right next to me). I feel pretty blessed to have her. Happy Birthday my Ariana girl--I love you!!!

Got my new Avon makeup today. I was really excited when I tried a sample and it didn’t make my face itch and turn red like almost everything does. It is so light, and doesn’t feel like you’re wearing anything at all.

Finished painting and put on the new bed sheets and comforter...I really like it! It’s amazing how spending $40 (for everything) can make you feel so much better, and make the room look and feel completely different. It is soooo much better now!

Started painting my bedroom today......so, here are some before and in the process pictures.

Funky light green walls, and my 15 year old bedding.....time for an upgrade.

Thinking about painting my bedroom. Since there is no overhead light, and just a single lamp I was thinking some shade of yellow to help brighten up the room because it always seems dark and dreary.

Well, today isn’t one of my personal pictures, but it is still a good one. For Christmas I bought my sister a gift certificate for a racecar ride in a NASCAR--something that was on her bucket list. Well, this past weekend she finally made the trek to Dallas to go for her ride. She called to tell me that she thinks she could be a professional racecar driver. LOL! Needless to say I think she had a good time (even rode in an Army racecar), and the smile on her face says it all! :-)

Took a little break from work to go out and enjoy the sunset tonight. It was a good one! I love being able to see God’s handwork, and am reminded of his awesomeness!
